Service Project Z03 - Méndez-Lago & Karaulanov

Genomics & bioinformatics

Genome-wide assays have become indispensable analytical research tools for elucidating the impact of DNA replication, repair and the damage response on genome stability. As many of the projects heavily rely on such technologies, a service platform for next-generation sequencing will provide access to a range of standard protocols such as whole-genome and amplicon sequencing, ChIP-Seq, BrdU-Seq, Bisulfite-Seq and RNA-Seq. In addition, the IMB Core Facility staff will collaborate with researchers in the development of novel methods. The need for customised data processing and downstream analysis will be supplemented by a dedicated CRC bioinformatician. By means of lectures and practical courses, the platform will contribute to the training of the PhD students and postdocs within the network.
